Golden Triangle India Cycling Tour with Private Support Vehicle

Cycling across North India is structured carefully in this 10-day route connecting Delhi, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Bharatpur, and Jaipur. The itinerary combines active riding segments with vehicle support, ensuring that distances remain manageable while still covering major locations within the Golden Triangle region.

Routes are selected to avoid high-traffic highways wherever possible, focusing instead on secondary roads, rural paths, and quieter stretches between towns. This approach allows riders to observe everyday life closely, including farming activity, village interactions, and roadside culture that is not visible during standard road travel.

A support vehicle remains with the group throughout the journey, carrying luggage, water supplies, and spare equipment. The tour suits travellers looking for a physically active travel plan with structured guidance, regular breaks, and flexibility in riding distances based on comfort and fitness levels.

Day 1

Arrival in Delhi and Cycling Setup

Arrival at Delhi airport is followed by a private transfer to the hotel where check-in is completed smoothly. Time is provided to rest after travel, especially for those arriving on long international flights. Later in the afternoon, the cycling equipment is introduced, including bicycles, helmets, and safety gear, all adjusted based on individual requirements and comfort.

A detailed orientation session is conducted where the guide explains the structure of the cycling days, expected distances, terrain conditions, and safety protocols to follow during rides. Riders are informed about hand signals, group riding patterns, and how the support vehicle will operate alongside them throughout the journey.

In the evening, a short test ride is arranged in a controlled and less crowded area to help participants get familiar with the bicycles and road conditions. This session builds confidence before longer rides begin. Dinner is served at the hotel followed by overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2

Delhi to Agra Transfer and Evening Ride

After breakfast, the group departs from Delhi towards Agra using a comfortable vehicle, with bicycles transported safely in the support van. The drive is planned to avoid heavy traffic zones and ensure a smooth transition out of the city environment.

On arrival in Agra, check-in at the hotel is completed followed by a break for lunch and rest. In the late afternoon, a light cycling session is arranged on the outskirts of the city where traffic is manageable and roads are relatively open, allowing riders to ease into the journey.

The session focuses on maintaining steady pace, group coordination, and adapting to local road behaviour. The guide remains present to assist with any adjustments and to ensure safety throughout the ride. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Agra.

Day 3

Agra to Fatehpur Sikri Cycling Route

The day begins early with breakfast followed by transfer to a suitable starting point outside the main city area to begin the cycling route. The stretch towards Fatehpur Sikri includes a mix of open roads and village paths where traffic remains relatively low.

Cycling is conducted in segments with regular stops for hydration, rest, and short interactions with local communities. The support vehicle follows closely, allowing riders to take breaks whenever needed without pressure to complete the full distance continuously.

On reaching Fatehpur Sikri, time is allocated to walk through the historic complex and understand its layout. After completing the visit, the group continues by vehicle to the hotel for rest. Dinner is arranged followed by overnight stay near Bharatpur region.

Day 4

Fatehpur Sikri to Bharatpur Village Cycling

After breakfast, the ride continues towards Bharatpur through rural landscapes where the environment changes significantly from city surroundings. Roads are quieter, and the pace of life is slower, allowing riders to observe daily activities such as farming, livestock movement, and small local markets.

The cycling route is designed to remain comfortable, with flat terrain making it suitable for steady riding. Multiple stops are included to avoid fatigue and to allow participants to take photographs or interact with locals when appropriate.

Arrival in Bharatpur is followed by check-in at the lodge located near the sanctuary area. In the evening, a short relaxed ride is conducted around nearby roads to stretch after the journey. Dinner and overnight stay in Bharatpur.

Day 5

Bharatpur Countryside Cycling and Park Visit

The morning begins with a cycling session around the countryside surrounding Bharatpur, where narrow roads and open fields create a calm riding environment. The route is selected to avoid busy areas, allowing participants to focus on rhythm and comfort.

After breakfast, a visit to Keoladeo National Park is arranged. Inside the park, movement is slow and controlled, either on foot or via cycle rickshaw, giving a different form of active engagement compared to road cycling.

In the afternoon, an optional short ride is organised for those who wish to continue cycling, while others may rest at the lodge. The day concludes with dinner and informal discussion about the route covered so far. Overnight stay in Bharatpur.

Day 6

Bharatpur to Jaipur with Cycling Segments

Following breakfast, departure from Bharatpur towards Jaipur begins. The journey is divided into sections where cycling is included on selected stretches of road that are considered safe and suitable for riding.

Riders cycle in manageable segments while the support vehicle remains available at all times. This flexibility allows participants to switch between cycling and vehicle travel based on comfort levels and weather conditions.

Arrival in Jaipur is scheduled by evening, followed by hotel check-in and rest. Dinner is served at the hotel, and the guide provides a briefing about the next day’s ride in the Jaipur region. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 7

Jaipur Outskirts Cycling Route

The day starts early with a cycling session in the outskirts of Jaipur where traffic is lighter compared to the city centre. The route includes gentle inclines and open stretches, offering a slightly different terrain compared to previous flat routes.

Riders pass through small settlements and open areas, gaining a closer view of life outside the main city. The guide ensures the group maintains a steady pace and follows safe riding practices throughout the session.

After completing the ride, return to the hotel for breakfast and rest. The afternoon is kept free for relaxation or optional local exploration. Dinner and overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 8

Jaipur Local Ride and Cultural Exploration

After breakfast, a shorter cycling route is planned within selected parts of Jaipur where movement is controlled and manageable. The aim is to maintain activity without creating physical strain after multiple riding days.

Stops are included at key viewpoints where riders can take breaks and observe the surroundings. The guide shares insights about the region while ensuring the group remains comfortable during the ride.

In the afternoon, time is allocated for rest or optional visits to local areas. The day ends with dinner at the hotel and preparation for the final day of travel. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 9

Jaipur to Delhi Transfer with Optional Ride

Following breakfast, the group begins the return journey from Jaipur towards Delhi. Depending on time and energy levels, a short cycling segment may be included on a suitable stretch before completing the journey by vehicle.

The support vehicle ensures that all luggage and equipment are handled efficiently, allowing participants to travel comfortably without concern about logistics. Regular breaks are included for refreshments and rest.

On arrival in Delhi, check-in at the hotel is arranged. Dinner is served, and the guide conducts a brief closing discussion about the cycling experience. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 10

Departure from Delhi

The final day begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by preparation for departure. Time is kept flexible depending on flight schedules, ensuring a smooth transfer to the airport.

Participants can use the morning to relax, pack, or review photographs and notes from the journey. The support team ensures that all equipment is returned and packed properly.

Transfer to Delhi airport is arranged as per departure timing. The tour concludes after covering multiple cycling routes across the Golden Triangle region with structured support and guidance.
