Golden Triangle Tour with Pushkar Camel Fair 2026

Golden Triangle Tour with Pushkar Camel Fair 2026 is designed for travelers who want to combine India’s most iconic heritage circuit with one of Rajasthan’s most vibrant cultural festivals. This 7-day journey connects Delhi, Agra and Jaipur with Pushkar during the annual Camel Fair, scheduled around Kartik Purnima in 2026.

The itinerary balances Mughal architecture, Rajput fort cities and rural desert traditions. While the Golden Triangle introduces imperial monuments and royal palaces, Pushkar presents a completely different atmosphere with decorated camels, traditional competitions, folk music performances and religious rituals around Pushkar Lake.

Pushkar Camel Fair 2026 offers a rare opportunity to witness livestock trading, cultural pageantry and spiritual gatherings in one setting. This route ensures a seamless transition from India’s historical capitals to a living desert festival that reflects Rajasthan’s rural heritage.

Delhi Arrival

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The capital city presents a layered historical identity shaped by Mughal rulers and British colonial planning. The first day allows time for rest after travel.
If arrival timing permits, a short orientation drive around India Gate and central Delhi can be arranged. These wide ceremonial avenues contrast with the historic lanes of Old Delhi.
The evening remains at leisure for relaxation or independent dining. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2

Delhi Sightseeing

The day begins in Old Delhi with a visit to Jama Masjid followed by a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk. The narrow market lanes provide insight into traditional commerce and Mughal-era architecture.
Continue to Raj Ghat before driving past Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan. In New Delhi, visit Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb, both UNESCO-recognized monuments reflecting Indo-Islamic architectural development.
The contrast between Old and New Delhi establishes the historical context of the Golden Triangle route. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3

Delhi to Agra

After breakfast, depart for Agra via expressway. Upon arrival, check into your hotel before beginning sightseeing. Agra once served as the capital of the Mughal Empire.
Visit Agra Fort, a red sandstone complex overlooking the Yamuna River. Its courtyards and audience halls reveal the administrative and residential aspects of Mughal rule.
In the evening, explore local handicraft markets or relax at the hotel in preparation for the early morning Taj Mahal visit. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 4

Agra to Jaipur (Via Fatehpur Sikri & Abhaneri)

Begin early with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. The marble monument reflects subtle color changes at dawn, highlighting its symmetrical design and intricate stone inlay.
After breakfast, drive toward Jaipur with stops at Fatehpur Sikri and Chand Baori in Abhaneri. Fatehpur Sikri showcases monumental Mughal gateways, while Abhaneri’s stepwell demonstrates ancient engineering precision.
Arrive in Jaipur by evening and check into your hotel. Jaipur’s terracotta facades introduce the architectural identity of Rajasthan. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 5

Jaipur Sightseeing

The day begins with a visit to Amber Fort, perched on a hill overlooking Maota Lake. Its courtyards and mirror-work interiors represent Rajput craftsmanship.
Continue to Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Jantar Mantar. These landmarks highlight Jaipur’s royal lineage and scientific advancements during the 18th century.
In the evening, explore local markets preparing for festival season. The city’s vibrant bazaars display textiles, jewelry and traditional handicrafts. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 6

Jaipur to Pushkar – Camel Fair Experience

After breakfast, drive to Pushkar, one of Rajasthan’s most sacred towns. During the Pushkar Camel Fair 2026, the desert outskirts transform into a lively gathering of camel traders, livestock owners and performers.
Spend the day exploring the fairgrounds where decorated camels participate in beauty contests, races and traditional competitions. Folk musicians and dancers create a festive rural atmosphere unique to this event.
Later visit Brahma Temple and Pushkar Lake, where pilgrims gather for ritual bathing during Kartik Purnima. The blend of spiritual devotion and desert culture makes this day the highlight of the tour. Overnight stay in Pushkar or return to Jaipur depending on accommodation plan.

Day 7

Pushkar to Delhi – Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Delhi. The journey concludes the circuit that connects Mughal monuments, Rajput forts and Rajasthan’s most famous rural festival.
Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Assistance will be provided for smooth departure procedures.
